In the first phase of the project, 40.5 MW of TOPCon modules and 6 MW of AIKO ABC modules were deployed, with grid connection successfully achieved in early June. The engineering team from Tibra Pacific conducted on-site assessments and determined that, within the same footprint, AIKO ABC modules outperform TOPCon modules by generating 12% more electricity and reducing generation costs by 3%. This underscores the significant value advantage of AIKO ABC modules. Given this notable performance benefit under real-world operating conditions, the decision was made to replace all TOPCon modules originally planned for the second phase with AIKO ABC modules.

Over the 30-year lifecycle of the project, AIKO ABC modules are expected to generate 2.56 billion kWh of clean electricity, which is 38.5 million kWh more than TOPCon modules.
Project Challenges
Customers are confronted with substantial challenges related to land resources and capital expenditure. Centralized projects are often impeded by limited land availability, while rugged terrain further complicates construction efforts. Additionally, complex system designs and the extensive use of installation materials drive up costs. To address these issues, customers require more efficient products that can effectively reduce expenses. Meanwhile, the region’s extreme heat poses risks of hot spots and micro-cracks, making it essential to utilize safer and more reliable products.
